Bear Creek Stables offers several different types of riding lessons for both Western and English Riding styles. Whether you are just starting out with horses or already have some experience, she can help you improve your riding skills.
Group Lessons
Each class rides for one hour a week and classes are divided according to skill level. Classes will be taught by Linda Dovers and her experienced staff. You must be at
the stables 30 minutes before the listed class time to prepare your horse.
Western Horseback Riding
If you enjoy riding and just being around horses, this is the class for you.
Beginner I & II - you will learn basic horse care, grooming, tacking, and proper position at walk and trot. In the
Beginner II/ Intermediate I - you will continue to work on control and balance at a walk, trot and lope
Intermediate II/ Advanced - In the Int/Adv class you will proceed with the Lope, leads, horsemanship patterns and rail work (Instructor approval required)

English Horseback Riding
Topics in this class include:Hunt seat equitation, jumping courses, work w/o stirrups, and showing techniques
Beginner English - In the BEG class you will learn the basics of horse care, grooming, tacking up and proper position at the posting trot.
Intermediate/Advanced - In the Int/Adv class you'll proceed with the canter, leads, rail work and patterns
